Karla McDonald is proud to own and operate a female-owned business in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. According to Law Insider, an organization meets the definition of a female-owned business if a woman has at least 51 percent ownership and the majority vote in its operation.

The United States Chamber of Commerce offers Woman-Owned Business Certification, which Dr. McDonald has obtained. The federal government supports the chamber’s efforts by pledging to offer a minimum of five percent of federal contracting dollars to woman-owned businesses. She is happy to let her patients know she qualified for this recognition.

Dr. Karla McDonald’s Educational Background

Dr. McDonald completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and dental school at the University of Buffalo. She then obtained a General Practice Residency Certificate from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities after completing the certificate program in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Dr. McDonald was a dental resident at the University of Minnesota for 14 months.
